  • Properties: –
  • A natural bio-insecticide manufactured from chemical compounds found in the bacterial species Saccharopolyspora spinose isolated from sugarcane fermentation. It acts by contact and is infectious to cause insect paralysis.
  • Spinocym affects the nervous system of insects that eat or touch it. It causes their muscles to flex uncontrollably. This leads to paralysis and eventual death, usually within a day or two.
  • Spinochem is characterized by ensuring a fully concentrated effect on the pest, as it contains auxiliary materials that work to increase the spread and effectiveness of the product and the period of effect compared to its counterpart.
  • The pesticide is used in integrated pest management (IPM).
